No nationwide or regional multi-state web page for county tax information exists. However, each western state's department of revenue keeps meeting minutes and series data (such as property taxes paid, mill levy rates, sales tax rates, and sales tax accrued) online.

Historical tax information is often, but not always, provided to the public through the state department of revenue or the department of taxation. As a result, there is great variation in the type and amount of tax information available across western states.
