The WRDC is concerned with protecting your privacy and recognizes the importance of privacy to our website visitors. We only collect information from you if you are requesting a service from us and if you provide it voluntarily. This may include but is not limited to subscriptions to our newsletter, Media Group, publications, registration for conferences, workshops, seminars, or the Western Rural Resource Network.

What information do we collect?
The WRDC monitors the web hits we receive so we can better assess our website and make improvements. The information collected from every visitor is automatically compiled and does not identify the user. The statistical data we collect includes the visitor’s IP address, the date and time of the visit, how long the visitor remained at our website, what pages they accessed, and how they searched for and connected to our website.

Does the WRDC share the information it receives?
Your privacy is important to us and we do not share personal information collected on our website.

How secure is my personal information?
Utah State University, our host institution, has instituted security measures for the information systems under our control so information will not be stolen, lost, altered or misused. The university uses software applications to monitor the traffic to our website and identify unauthorized attempts to access data, upload or download information, or otherwise cause damage.
