Yvonneda Thompson

Ms. Thompson is currently the Extension Service Director for Chief Dull Knife College where she has been employed for seven years. She first served with the college as a Community Development Agent. Ms. Thompson has a thorough understanding of the importance and need for social/community/economic development in reservation communities. She serves as a Board member for the People’s Partners for community Development, Montana Tribal Tourism Alliance and the Montana Financial Education Coalition. She also represents the 1994 Land Grant institutions on the Extension Diversity Task Force. She is a Cheyenne Tribal member with enrollment in Oklahoma. Ms. Thompson has made her home in the Northern Cheyenne community for twenty-four years and has served the community in capacity building for fourteen years working with grassroots organizations, tribal programs and community leaders. Ms. Thompson is committed to working for and with the Northern Cheyenne community and Native people. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Dakota.
